Building cybersecurity talent is a US priority and a hot topic for CTE leaders and workforce development professionals. Substantial federal funds have been invested to launch tech apprenticeships, inter-agency initiatives are underway, and working groups have been established to facilitate dialogue with all stakeholders.  Proposed revisions to the National Apprenticeship System contain a new Registered Apprenticeship model to integrate apprenticeship into education. In this session we will talk about some of the national efforts to channel youth into tech apprenticeships, showcase various IT/Cybersecurity apprenticeship models, compare internships & apprenticeships, cover tips to find cyber opportunities, and share ideas for sustaining business engagement in high quality workforce based learning experiences.  Join us and share in this interactive and collaborative session!
