Michael Hsiao is a professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Virginia Tech. His professional interests include reliable design, artificial intelligence, and natural language based applications. He has worked extensively with both students and teachers to learn computational thinking, AI, and design thinking. He has a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a Fellow of IEEE.
